About Me

Okay - so this is the page where you introduce yourself right?

Is it just me.. or does it completely suck to introduce yourself? Everytime a teacher in college asks me to introduce myself, I almost panic. Who am I? What defines me? What do I like, what makes me diffrent from the guy next to me?

The usual short things I tell in class are this: my name is Brooke Weise, I'm 20 years old, I live in Zoetermeer with my mother and stepdad and I like a lot of different things such as writing, listening to music (who doesn't, right?), reading, watching tv-shows and movies...

And then I usually fall quiet. Even tough I know this is just everything you can learn by looking at my facebook page, this is the basics. This is what I usually want other people to know.

But that.. is not even close to the real me. I never used to believe I was much more then just another one in the crowd.. But these past few years, I have started to believe that there is no such thing as just another face in the crowd. Everyone is unique and has their own story, even the girls who appear absolutely perfect. Everyone carries their own baggage, so why should we have to carry it alone? Sharing makes the weight so much lighter and other people often have solutions you haven't even tought of yet! So feel free to share, get over the fear. That is what I am doing, and I hope that - even if it's just one person - reading this helps. Most of our generation spends their nights like I am now - behind their computer, surfing the net. Some write, some make videos, others read or create music and others just simply watch their favorite shows.

Reading back now, I realise I haven't told much more new things about myself - I do that a lot. Well, for those of you who really want to get to know me, just keep reading my blogs. Usually I'm the most honest when I write, even when it's absolutely terrifying. So, want to get to know me? Enjoy reading the blogs!

Until we read again
